Here are a few tips to help you relax and get some much-needed rest before your job interview:
1) Practice deep breathing exercises.
When we’re nervous, our breathing becomes shallower and faster. This can lead to feeling lightheaded or even dizzy. Practicing deep breathing exercises can help slow down your breathing and ease anxiety.
Practice breathing in your nose deeply, exhaling slowly. You can also try counting to four as you inhale, and then eight as you exhale.
2) Write down your anxieties
Sometimes, all it takes is getting your anxieties out of your head and onto paper. Once they’re out in the open, you can start to rationalize them and see them for what they are: usually not as bad as you think they are.

4) Do something calming before Bedtime
Whether it’s reading a book, taking a bath, or listening to soothing music, do something that will help you unwind before attempting to sleep. You want your mind to be as calm as possible so that you can drift off into dreamland easily.
5) Avoid Caffeine At All Costs
Caffeine won’t only keep you up later than intended, but it will also make you more anxious. If you’re trying to sleep but keep getting interrupted by a racing heart or panic attacks, chances are caffeine is to blame.
The adrenaline from being anxious is enough, you don’t need to add caffeine into the mix as well.
6) Exercise A Lot That Day
If you exercise a lot during the day, you will be physically tired by the time nighttime rolls around. This will make it easier for you to fall asleep and stay asleep throughout the night.
7) Detach From Your Phone
We live in a world where we’re constantly plugged in and accessible. But this can be detrimental when trying to sleep. If you’re laying in bed scrolling through your social media feeds, your brain will start to associate your bed with being awake.
8) Avoid Stressful People
Arguments can get your adrenaline going. Once your adrenaline gets going in combination with your anxiety for the next day, getting to sleep is most likely not going to happen at the time you would like.
If this means you need to isolate yourself, then do that!
9) Try The Calm App
