What is Freepik?

Freepik is best known as a software that provides free and premium vector graphics for use in infographics.

Freepik has tens of thousands of free graphic resources that you can download and use without worrying about attribution or copyright. If you want to be sure the graphics are all yours for any purpose, paid vector drawings work just as well but they must never be shared with anyone else.

What is Print On Demand?

Print on demand can be a great option for those with smaller budgets or looking to create products in small batches.

Print on demand services are also known as “just-in-time manufacturing,” which means they only produce when there’s an order for the product.

The term “print on demand” is used to describe a process in which digital content, such as tee shirts, mugs books and magazines, are printed only upon receiving an order from the customer. The printers print out one copy at a time and each printing cost is linked directly to the number of copies ordered by the individual buyer.

Can You Use Freepik For Your Print on Demand Business?

The only way you can use Freepik for your print on demand business is if you don’t use the freepik image as the main element of the design.

Meaning you can’t just take one design and put it straight on a shirt. It either has to be in the background or a very small portion of the design.

You might be thinking what if i take multiple images from Freepik and combine them, but this would mean Freepik images are the main element of the design and it’s against the rules.

Should You Use Freepik for your print on demand business?

The only way I would use Freepik for print on demand was if i needed to use one of their pictures for a very small portion of my design. Otherwise I wouldn’t bother.

What Should You Use to Help Create Designs?

Pixabay is a great option to use for your designs because they are a little less strict with their pictures.

Pixabay just states that you have to add value to the design in order to use them for your designs. It doesn’t specify how much value but, the rules seem a little less strict than Freepik.

What Else To Look Out For

Other things to look out for is logos and brands. Stay away from adding any of these into your designs even if they are a small portion of the design.

Staying away from these things will keep you from getting flagged for copyright on your Print on Demand Site.

If this was helpful .please share it with the world!
